Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Mobile Tester

to work on a

data-heavy mobile application

involving complex

backend systems, APIs, and databases

. This role is ideal for candidates who go beyond UI testing and have strong hands-on experience validating

end-to-end data flow from mobile apps to backend systems

.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and understand

business and technical requirements

Design and execute

test cases

using standard

test design techniques

Perform

mobile application testing

on

Android and iOS

platforms Validate

end-to-end data flow

between mobile apps and backend systems Perform

API testing

using tools like

Postman / Swagger

Conduct

backend and database testing

, including

complex SQL queries with multiple joins

Perform

data quality, data validation, and data integrity testing

Identify, log, and track defects using

JIRA

Work in

Agile/Scrum environments

and collaborate with cross-functional teams Act as an

individual contributor

while also supporting team collaboration

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in

software testing

Strong experience in

mobile application testing (Android & iOS)

Hands-on experience in

API testing (REST APIs)

Strong

database testing experience

with

SQL (joins, validations)

Experience testing

backend-intensive, data-driven applications

Familiarity with

JIRA

and Agile methodologies Good

communication and problem-solving skills

Good to Have (Preferred)

Experience in

test automation

using

Selenium with Python

Exposure to

mobile automation tools

such as

Appium

Experience in testing

high-volume or complex data systems
