About The Job:

• We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Publishing Lead with deep expertise in managing and governing the end-to-end publishing lifecycle of enterprise and public mobile applications across Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and MDM/Enterprise Mobility platforms.
• The candidate will act as the go-to specialist for mobile app release management, ensuring compliance with organizational, client, and platform policies while driving operational excellence and automation.

Essential Job Functions:
App Publishing & Release Management

• Manage the end-to-end release cycle for enterprise and client-facing apps on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and internal MDM platforms.
• Create, maintain, and validate store listings, metadata, and assets in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Handle provisioning profiles, certificates, keystores, and signing identities in alignment with enterprise policies.
• Coordinate with development, QA, security, and DevOps teams to ensure compliant and timely app releases.
• Track release readiness, version control, and rollback mechanisms.

Enterprise MDM & Internal Distribution

• Manage in-house and internal enterprise app deployments using MDM tools such as Intune, AirWatch (Workspace ONE), MobileIron, and Hexnode.
• Define and enforce distribution policies, access control, and device compliance for corporate app deployments.
• Oversee enterprise certificate renewals, provisioning updates, and re-signing of internal apps.
• Work with Enterprise Mobility and Security teams to ensure adherence to IT and data protection standards.
• Support UAT and staged rollout processes through MDM testing and pilot groups.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Maintain centralized documentation for app versions, credentials, certificates, and distribution processes.
• Implement and monitor compliance with Apple and Google developer policies, data privacy laws, and enterprise security frameworks.
• Manage enterprise developer accounts, D-U-N-S registration, and access control for multi-client environments.
• Ensure all app releases undergo security validation, legal sign-offs, and risk assessment reviews.

Process Optimization & Automation

• Define and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for app publishing and distribution.
• Automate build and release pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize build signing, versioning, and release approvals.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and techniques to enhance release efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

• Serve as the primary publishing contact for internal business units and external client stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain release calendars, status dashboards, and publishing reports.
• Provide audit support and respond to compliance or policy review requests.
• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers on publishing tools and standards.

Qualifications:

• Total Experience : 10+ Years
• Relevant Experience : 8 Years
• Mandatory skills : MDM platforms: Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron, Hexnode
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure DevOps
• Desired skills : Intune

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app publishing, enterprise mobility management, and release governance.
• Deep knowledge of:
• App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Apple Enterprise Distribution
• MDM platforms: Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron, Hexnode
• Build and signing processes: Certificates (.p12), Provisioning Profiles (.mobileprovision), Keystores (.jks/.keystore)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and release automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, compliance, and data privacy in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Firebase App Distribution, or App Center.
• Working knowledge of enterprise mobility frameworks and zero-trust deployment models.
• Exposure to multi-tenant app deployment scenarios for global clients.
• Understanding of ASO (App Store Optimization) for enterprise and client-facing apps.
