The Role

We're the well-established first-mover in the Kitchen AI space. AI and robotics systems to

revolutionize kitchen operations, specializing in automating challenging and dangerous

tasks such as frying, grilling, and food preparation. Join our team and help shape the future

of food service automation by developing intelligent kitchen robotics systems, including

voice assistant solutions that provide real-time support to kitchen operators.

Responsibilities:

? Utilize LLMs and other AI models for voice assistants that provide real-

time support and customer service to kitchen operators.

? Conduct research and experiments to improve AI models, enhancing the

voice assistant's ability to understand and respond accurately to operator

queries and commands.

? Collaborate with engineers to integrate NLP capabilities into robotic

kitchen assistants, ensuring seamless interactions between human

operators and machines.

? Optimize NLP models for real-time on device performance and language

comprehension in noisy, fast-paced kitchen environments.

? Design voice interaction flows and natural language understanding (NLU)

systems to ensure the AI assistant can handle diverse operator requests, from

simple commands to complex troubleshooting.

? Build data pipelines to continuously train and refine NLP models based

on real-world operator interactions and performance feedback.

? Develop multilingual NLP capabilities to support kitchen operations

across diverse language environments.

? Participate in cross-functional teams to prototype and iterate on new

voice assistant features, ensuring smooth deployment to production.

? Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP, voice recognition,

speech synthesis, and conversational AI, advocating for the adoption of

cutting-edge technologies.Qualifications:

? Strong background in AI/ML, with a focus on Natural Language

Processing (NLP), conversational AI, and speech recognition

technologies.

? Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU acceleration, CUDA, and deep learning

frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

? Hands-on experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS)

? Proficiency in Python and experience with the Linux environment, and

version control systems (e.g., Git).

? Experience building and deploying NLP systems, including speech-to-text, text-to-

speech, and natural language understanding (NLU) in real-time environments.

? Familiarity with tokenization, tool calling, agents, entity recognition, sentiment

analysis, and intent classification techniques.

? Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, including slang and dialects,

to ensure effective communication in diverse operational settings.

? Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating NLP solutions

into robotic systems.

? Ability to work in our HQ in Pasadena, CA.

Nice to Have:

? Previous experience with AI solutions in industrial automation or kitchen

automation settings.

? Familiarity with AI tools from NVIDIA, like NVIDIA ACE and Tokkio for customer

support.

? Experience with agile project management tools like JIRA or similar platforms.

? Knowledge of real-time conversational AI, reinforcement learning, or behavior

cloning in robotic applications.

? Experience in developing NLP solutions that can function effectively in noisy

environments.

? Experience working with perception algorithms in computer vision or sensor fusion.

? Strong attention to detail, with a focus on improving user experience through

continuous feedback and iteration.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?1,800,000.00 per year
