About the Role
The Manager, Internal & Regional Leader Communications, EMEA is a pivotal member of the communications team, responsible for cultivating an engaged, informed, and inspired workforce across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. Based in India, this role serves as a critical link between regional leadership and employees, driving strategic communications initiatives and supporting the Senior Manager of Internal Communications in implementing best-in-class practices that resonate within diverse cultural contexts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications Planning: Develop, execute, and evaluate comprehensive internal communications strategies for EMEA, aligned with organizational goals and regional priorities.
Regional Leadership Support: Partner closely with regional leaders to craft compelling messages, presentations, and campaigns that articulate vision, strategy, and key initiatives.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging communications materials, including newsletters, email communications, intranet articles, videos, and executive messages tailored for varied audiences across EMEA.
Change Management Communications: Lead communications for organizational changes, business transformation projects, and new initiatives, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment.
Channel Management: Oversee and optimise communication channels such as intranets, collaboration tools, and town hall events to maximise reach and impact.
Measurement & Analytics: Establish KPIs and use analytics to assess the effectiveness of communication campaigns, providing actionable insights and continuous improvement recommendations.
Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional partners, HR, regional leaders, and external vendors to ensure effective coordination and consistent messaging.
Localisation & Cultural Sensitivity: Adapt global communications for regional audiences, ensuring relevance and resonance by understanding local nuances, languages, and business practices.
Leadership Communications: Coach and support senior leaders in developing communication skills, enhancing executive visibility, and promoting authentic leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years in internal communications, corporate communications, or equivalent, preferably with exposure to international or regional functions in EMEA.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related discipline; Master's degree is an asset.
Language Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in one or more EMEA regional languages is highly advantageous.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies that drive employee engagement and business outcomes.
Storytelling: Strong narrative skills with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, inspiring messages.
Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of the EMEA business environment, cultures, and communication styles.
Digital Savvy: Experience with intranet platforms, digital communication tools, and analytics. Experience of AI tools a plus.
Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building trust and influence across senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
