Job Title: MIS SPOC - SCIR Rehabilitation Program
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Program Manager
Employment Type: Full-time / Contractual
Job Purpose:
To manage and streamline the data collection, analysis, and reporting processes for the SCIR (Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation) program. The MIS SPOC will act as the key link between field teams, program management, and donors for accurate and timely information flow, supporting program monitoring, decision-making, and impact reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management & Reporting

  • Design and maintain program-specific MIS systems (Excel/Cloud-based tools/Software).
  • Collect, verify, and consolidate data from all field teams, departments, and service points.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain real-time beneficiary tracking systems, including demographic, medical, and follow-up data.
  • Support impact reporting and donor presentations through charts, dashboards, and visual summaries.
2. Coordination & Communication
  • Act as the single point of contact for all MIS-related communication within the SCIR program.
  • Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, field officers, and administrative staff to ensure consistent data flow.
  • Liaise with IT teams for MIS tool upgrades and troubleshooting.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Support
  • Support the M&E team in designing data collection tools and formats.
  • Ensure that data collected is aligned with project indicators and log frames.
  • Assist in conducting baseline, midline, and endline evaluations.
4. Capacity Building
  • Train and support field staff and other stakeholders on data entry, MIS processes, and quality assurance.
  • Conduct periodic audits and feedback sessions to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
5. Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality protocols are followed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and SOPs for MIS processes.
  • Support in donor compliance requirements through accurate data and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Statistics / Rehabilitation Science / Social Work or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS/Data Management roles in development or healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience working in disability, rehabilitation, or public health programs is an advantage.
