Position Summary:

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MIS Officer to join our Mumbai team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in supply chain operations and sales data management, ensuring smooth coordination across functions to drive business goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, effective communication, and a proactive, execution-driven mindset.

Role & Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Operations

Plan and execute material orders based on forecasts and inventory levels. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor inventory and maintain optimal stock levels aligned with sales demand. Collaborate with Sales to manage aging inventory and propose viable alternatives. Drive material throughput by aligning supply and demand effectively. Follow up regularly with suppliers to ensure steady supply chain flow.

MIS & Sales Support

Collect, analyze, and consolidate sales team feedback (e.g., via Google Forms). Generate category-wise sales and gross margin reports. Maintain Sales Master Data and other critical reports on a monthly basis. Conduct project-specific gross margin analysis and provide actionable insights. Support effective coordination between Sales and cross-functional teams.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication Effective time management and multitasking ability High accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate in Engineering or Commerce; Postgraduate in Supply Chain/Operations preferred 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, MIS, or related areas Experience with supplier coordination (especially Chinese suppliers) preferred Familiarity with data analytics and sales forecasting tools is an advantage
