The MIS Manager will be responsible for leading the MIS (Management Information System) team and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of business data to support strategic decision-making. The role involves team management, implementation of the latest tools and reporting systems, and driving continuous improvement through data analytics and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide the
MIS Executives
to ensure timely preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Maintain and analyze
sales, inventory, financial, and operational data
for management review.
Develop and improve
MIS processes and dashboards
using advanced Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
Implement and train the team on
new tools and technologies
to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Accounts, Logistics, HR, etc.) to ensure smooth data flow and coordination.
Ensure data integrity and maintain proper
backup and documentation
of all reports.
Automate recurring reports and streamline manual processes for time efficiency.
Analyze business trends and present
insightful data summaries
to management for informed decisions.
Conduct regular team meetings, training, and skill enhancement sessions for MIS staff.
Perform any other duties assigned by management related to
data reporting, analysis, or system improvement
.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
Minimum
5+ years of experience
in MIS operations, reporting, or data analysis.
Strong knowledge of
MS Excel (advanced level)
, Power Query, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
Experience in
team handling
and workflow management.
Knowledge of
ERP systems
and database management preferred.
Ability to analyze large data sets and generate meaningful insights.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
