Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is a non-profit organization working closely with government institutions to support the implementation of national flagship programs such as the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U). SDS focuses on strengthening IEC, data management, monitoring, and documentation systems to improve urban sanitation outcomes and Swachh Survekshan performance.
Position Overview:
The MIS Expert - Swachhatam Portal will be responsible for accurate data collection, validation, management, and timely uploading of SBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), sanitation, IEC, and capacity-building related information on the Swachhatam Portal and other relevant government dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS data on the Swachhatam Portal.
Upload documentation related to SWM, sanitation, IEC, Capacity Building (CB), FSM, GFC, plastic ban, and C&D waste management.
Coordinate with field staff to collect geo-tagged photographs, attendance sheets, reports, challans, and notices.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across portals, registers, and field records.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and flag gaps or missing indicators to the Project Manager.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and compliance summaries for review meetings.
Support Swachh Survekshan documentation, audit readiness, and ranking improvement efforts.
Maintain digital and physical records for inspections, verifications, and audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Applications, IT, Statistics, Management, or a related field.
Minimum
1-2 years of experience
in MIS, SBM-U portals, or government dashboards.
Prior experience with the Swachhatam Portal, SBM-U, or ULB MIS systems will be preferred.
Key Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MIS tools, online portals, and basic data analytics.
Good understanding of SBM-U indicators and documentation requirements.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Effective coordination and communication skills.
