Job Summary

The MIS Executive will be a critical link between raw data and strategic decision-making in the ACP manufacturing process. This role involves managing, analysing, and reporting on data related to production efficiency, inventory levels, sales performance, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations and profitability. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data analysis tools and capable of providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Reporting:

Gather, clean, process, and consolidate large datasets from various departments (e.g., Production, Sales, Inventory, Logistics) using ERP systems and other software. Develop and generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends. Automate repetitive reporting tasks using advanced Microsoft Excel functions (like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Production & Quality Analysis:

Monitor and report on production volume, downtime (planned and unplanned), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Track quality metrics such as defect density (number of defective panels produced vs. total produced) and First Pass Yield (FPY) to identify areas for improvement. Analyse manufacturing cycle times and work-in-progress (WIP) days to enhance efficiency.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Track and report on inventory levels for raw materials (aluminum coils, core materials, protective films, etc.) and finished goods. Monitor inventory turns and days of inventory on hand to help minimize carrying costs. Analyze supplier performance, including on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery rates of inbound materials. Track outbound logistics KPIs, such as perfect order delivery rates and freight costs per shipment, for customer satisfaction and cost control.

System and Process Improvement:

Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all information systems and conduct regular data audits. Collaborate with the IT department and other teams to troubleshoot system issues, perform upgrades, and implement new functionalities or data management strategies. Identify operational bottlenecks and data-related inefficiencies, making suggestions for process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience:

Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) as an MIS Executive or in a similar data analysis/reporting role within a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environment.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

, including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization. Familiarity with ERP systems common in manufacturing environments. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and database management knowledge (e.g., SQL) are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences and senior management. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
