The MIS Executive will be responsible for centralized Excel-based data management and reporting for all departments, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely availability. The role requires strong analytical capability to convert large datasets into insightful, management-ready PowerPoint presentations supporting business reviews and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Central Excel Data Management
Own and manage Excel-based MIS for all departments (Operations, Warehouse, Logistics, HR, Finance, etc.).
Maintain master trackers, dashboards, and data repositories.
Ensure data accuracy, validation, version control, and standard formats.
2. Cross-Department Data Coordination
Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple departments.
Follow up with stakeholders for data gaps, mismatches, and timelines.
Act as a central SPOC for MIS-related data requirements.
3. Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel techniques.
Identify trends, variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Highlight exceptions and critical insights to leadership proactively.
4. PowerPoint Reporting & Presentations
Create high-impact PowerPoint presentations for:
Daily / weekly operational reviews
Monthly management reviews
Leadership dashboards
Translate complex Excel data into clear, structured, and visual storytelling.
5. Reporting Governance & Timelines
Ensure timely circulation of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS.
Maintain reporting calendars and SLA adherence.
Track action items and closures from review meetings.
6. Process Improvement & Automation Support
Identify opportunities to improve MIS efficiency and accuracy.
Support automation and dashboard development initiatives.
Standardize reporting formats across departments.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, formulas, dashboards).
Excellent PowerPoint skills with strong executive storytelling.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to manage large datasets across multiple departments.
Excellent coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
High ownership and deadline discipline
Preferred Experience and skillset
2-5 years of experience in MIS, data reporting, or business analytics.
Experience working with multi-department / central MIS models.
Exposure to operations, supply chain, finance, or HR MIS preferred.
Graduate in Commerce, Business, Operations, Statistics, or related fields.
