Job Description

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in a data analysis, MIS, or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Management: Gather data from various departments, including production, sales, finance, and quality control. Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to production output, sales figures, and inventory levels. Performance Monitoring: Create dashboards and visualizations to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Monitor the performance of manufacturing projects and sales pipelines against set targets. Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement based on data analysis. Provide actionable recommendations to management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Communication: Present complex data in a clear and understandable format to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with department heads to understand their data needs and provide tailored reports. Software Proficiency: Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, Tableau, or other similar platforms for data analysis and reporting. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
