The MIS Coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and analyzing Management Information System (MIS) data to support smooth operations and effective decision-making. The role involves accurate data collection, reporting, record maintenance, and coordination with different departments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update MIS databases on a daily/weekly basis
Prepare and circulate MIS reports related to attendance, admissions, fees, sales, operations, and performance
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of data and reports
Coordinate with center teams, HR, accounts, and management for data collection
Monitor data gaps and follow up with concerned teams for corrections
Maintain employee records, student records, and operational data
Support management with analytical reports and dashboards
Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies
Assist in audits, reviews, and internal reporting requirements
Handle documentation and record-keeping as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / BCA preferred)
1-3 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data coordination
Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Basic knowledge of MIS tools, ERP, or CRM systems
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent coordination and follow-up abilities
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in education, training, or service industry
Knowledge of HR MIS or Finance MIS
Ability to handle multiple reports under tight deadlines
