Responsibilities & Duties

Plan, design, and supervise the development of mines Develop and implement safe and efficient mining methods Conduct geological and geotechnical studies to assess the viability of mining sites Analyze production data to identify trends and optimize mining operations Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient use of resources and equipment Prepare project budgets and schedules and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Mining Engineer Qualifications & Skills

Master's degree in Mining Engineering Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software Knowledge of mine safety regulations and best practices Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Prior experience in a supervisory role Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field 5+ years of experience in mining engineering or a related field Strong understanding of mining methods and techniques Experience with project management and budgeting Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Willingness to work in remote locations
