Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Mineral Analysis & Identification:

Utilize techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to identify mineral species, textures, and impurities.

Process Optimization:

Collaborate with metallurgists to improve mineral recovery rates, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.

Sample Management:

Oversee the collection, preparation, and analysis of core samples, ensuring rigorous QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control).

Data Reporting:

Create detailed technical reports and visualizations (using tools like Excel, Power BI) to communicate findings to engineers, management, and geologists.

Fieldwork:

Conduct field studies, geological mapping, and sample collection, sometimes in remote locations.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to strict safety and environmental regulations in both laboratory and field settings.
