Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Milling Machine Operator

with 3-6 years of hands-on exposure in machining operations. The candidate should be capable of independently operating milling machines, maintaining accuracy, ensuring production targets, and following safety & quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate conventional milling machines with precision and efficiency. Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and machining tolerances. Perform independent machine setup (job setting, tool fixing, alignment). Select and use appropriate cutting tools & speeds/feeds. Inspect finished components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc. Maintain the machine condition and follow daily housekeeping standards. Monitor machining processes to ensure quality output with minimum rejection. Complete daily production reports and update job progress to the supervisor. Coordinate with quality, production, and tooling teams when required. Follow strict safety protocols and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

Required Skills & Experience

3 to 6 years of experience as a Milling Operator in a precision machining/engineering industry. Strong knowledge of machining parameters, job holding methods, and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings. Good understanding of measuring instruments and quality checks. Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently. Working Hours

9 Hours per day.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / Any technical background (preferred). Candidates with strong practical experience will be considered regardless of qualification.
