: Reading blueprints or CAD designs to set up the machine correctly

Operating the machine

: Using hand or foot levers to control the machine and perform repetitive machining operations

Checking quality

: Using precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of machined parts

Performing maintenance

: Performing routine maintenance, such as fluid checks, replacing minor parts, and lubricating equipment

Cleaning

: Cleaning the machine and removing and recycling salvageable materials

Following safety rules

: Wearing protective equipment and clothing, and following safety rules and regulations
*

Adjusting settings

: Adjusting the settings, speed, and feed of the machine
*

Changing tools and parts

: Changing the tools and parts when needed
*

Fixing defects

: Fixing any defects or errors in the products
