Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machines and mechanical equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals. Inspect and identify mechanical issues and perform corrective maintenance. Fit and assemble parts using hand tools and power tools. Perform precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment. Operate hoists, cranes, and rigging equipment safely. Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment according to maintenance schedules. Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other technicians. Follow all safety procedures and ensure a hazard-free work environment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a millwright, mechanical fitter, or similar role. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and gearboxes. Ability to use alignment tools such as dial indicators, laser alignment, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Physical strength and stamina to work in industrial environments. Basic welding and fabrication knowledge is a plus.

Preferred:

Certification in mechanical fitting/millwright work. Experience in heavy industries such as cement, steel, oil & gas, or power plants. Ability to work shifts or extended hours if required.
