Design and architect migration solutions, selecting appropriate methodologies and tooling to meet business objectives.
Create detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for migration patterns, target zone infrastructure, and network connectivity.
Orchestrate and oversee the execution of migration waves, providing technical leadership and troubleshooting complex issues during cutover events.
Establish and maintain migration standards, best practices, and repeatable governance frameworks.
Collaborate closely with application, security, networking, and operations teams to ensure a seamless and secure migration process with minimal business disruption.
Design identity and access integration strategies for migrated workloads in the target environment.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale data center design and workload migration projects.
Deep expertise in the VMware virtualization stack, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex migrations from diverse environments to Vmware based private clouds.
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including networking (TCP/IP, BGP, VPN), connectivity (MPLS, Ipsec), storage (SAN, NAS), and enterprise backup solutions.
Experience with compliance frameworks and designing solutions that meet security standards.
Strong documentation skills with experience creating architecture artifacts, migration runbooks, and technical specifications.
