Job Overview

An MS (Mild Steel) Pipe Welder is responsible for joining and fixing MS pipes used in construction and industrial projects. The job includes preparing pipes, welding them safely, checking quality, and maintaining tools.

Key Responsibilities

Pipe Assembly & Fitting: Read drawings and set up pipes in the correct position before welding.

Welding Work: Weld MS pipes using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding to make strong, clean joints.

Preparation: Cut, clean, and prepare pipes using proper tools.

Quality Check: Inspect welds and materials to ensure they meet project standards.

Equipment Care: Keep welding machines and tools clean and in good working condition.

Safety: Follow all safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a safe work area.

Repairs: Fix damaged pipes when required.

Reporting: Record daily progress and completed work.

Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Ability to read and understand welding drawings and symbols

Skilled in using welding and hand tools

Good knowledge of safety rules

Physically strong with good stamina and hand skills

Detail-oriented and mechanically skilled

Minimum: High school pass or equivalent

Welding certification (AWS) preferred

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹9,641.34 - ₹24,048.18 per month
