Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

MIG welding operations

on sheet metal components as per job requirements. Read and understand

engineering drawings, welding symbols, and tolerances

. Set up welding machines and ensure correct wire feed, gas flow, and parameters. Inspect workpieces visually and dimensionally to ensure weld quality and accuracy. Perform

grinding, finishing, and polishing

of welds as needed. Operate basic sheet metal fabrication tools like grinders, measuring instruments, jigs & fixtures. Maintain cleanliness and organize welding work area, tools & equipment. Ensure compliance with

safety procedures, PPE usage, and company quality standards

. Report material shortages, equipment breakdowns, or nonconformance issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-6 years of experience in

MIG Welding for sheet metal fabrication

. Good knowledge of

measurement tools

(Vernier, gauges, tape, angle meter etc.). Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualification:

ITI (Welder) / Diploma in Welding or relevant trade certification.

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?32,000.00 per month
