Key Responsibilities

Welding:

Perform MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) on various metal types and thicknesses to join, fabricate, or repair parts.

Material preparation:

Clean, cut, and prepare metal components for welding, ensuring proper alignment and tack welding.

Equipment operation and maintenance:

Operate and maintain welding equipment, including setting up the correct parameters for different materials and ensuring equipment is in good working order.

Quality control:

Inspect completed welds for defects, structural soundness, and adherence to quality and technical standards.

Safety compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Collaboration:

Work with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and ensure project success.
