We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Ensuring that Infrastructure (Middleware, Database, OS, Windows, etc) for the Products/Applications meets the desired criteria before
  • Engage with the Product/Application team, stakeholders, business, etc. for the requirement and desired outcome.
  • Integrate various tools along with the DevOps journey and automate wherever possible.
  • Helps the portfolio is driving the savings by minimizing the efforts and making the best use of tooling and capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of WAS, IHS, WebSphere MQ, Database concepts.
  • Hands on experience on UNIX Shell scripting, Python, SQL, CERT Renewal for WAS/IHS/MQ, Process Automation and Service Improvements.
  • Skills in trouble shooting Java Applications deployed on any of the industry standard Front end Application Servers such as IBM WAS/IHS, JBoss
  • Familiarity with various API management platforms (e.g., Mule gateway, Pivotal Cloud Foundry). Knowledge of DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) and AWS Cloud
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills that help in recovering services from outages.
  • Experience in Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management along with exposure of providing application & infra support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues, inclusive of ability and experience in interacting with higher positions. People leadership experience \xe2\x80\x93 motivating and inspiring others to excel.
