Essential Job Functions:

• Performs systems analysis and design.
• Designs and implements moderate to highly complex messaging systems.
• Implements moderate to complex system changes as per documented requirements.
• Performs maintenance and support for messaging systems.
• Designs and documents business continuity plans.
• Assists in managing projects and tasks to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Provides problem-solving and root cause analyses to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
• Provides 24 x 7 x 365 support for messaging systems.
• Supports emerging technologies and products

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years exp

Technical Skills:

• Administration of IBM MQ messaging platform (Linux, Windows, z/OS)
• Security: Knowledge of IBM MQ security including encryption and TLS communication.
• Clustering:Proficiency in IBM MQ clustering to include full/partial repositories and queue clustering.
• Knowledge of MQ Pub/Sub concepts
• Knowledge of MQ Internet Pass-Thru (IPT)
• System Performance:Knowledge of performance tuning of messaging systems to meet application requirements.
• Operating system knowledge to include Linux, Windows, z/OS
• Development Tools/Languages: Familiarity with tools like CP-Ansible, Java, and she'll scripting.
