Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate
Mathematics Teacher for Middle School (Grades 5-6)
who can inspire students to develop strong mathematical skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will bring creativity into the classroom, ensure conceptual clarity, and foster an engaging learning environment aligned with the school's ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with curriculum requirements (CISCE/ISC).
Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that encourage analytical thinking and real-world application of mathematics.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments; provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate student records, reports, and communication with parents.
Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom culture.
Collaborate with colleagues for cross-disciplinary projects, school events, and academic improvement initiatives.
Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
Uphold the school's values and ensure compliance with all academic and administrative policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mathematics or related field).
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification (mandatory).
Minimum
2-4 years of teaching experience
at the middle school level, preferably in CISCE/ISC schools.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical practices.
