Job Description

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and concept-driven lessons that develop students' analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills. The teacher should be able to simplify complex mathematical concepts and ensure that students develop a strong foundation in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum (CBSE Board). Create lesson plans that promote logical reasoning, critical thinking, and application-based learning. Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and tests to monitor student progress. Provide individualized attention and remedial support to students as needed. Maintain accurate student performance records and report progress to parents and management. Encourage students to participate in mathematics competitions and Olympiads. Integrate technology and real-life examples to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts. Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary activities and improve teaching methods. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or related discipline. B.Ed. (mandatory for school-level teaching). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience (freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply). Familiarity with modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.

Key Skills:

Strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to motivate and engage students. Good classroom management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using smart boards, digital content, and online teaching tools.
