Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and grade-level standards.
Design and implement lesson plans that promote critical thinking and conceptual understanding.
Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and other formative and summative assessments.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve academically.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Support school policies and contribute to the overall growth and ethos of the institution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / Education (Master's Degree preferred).
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is mandatory.
Minimum
2-5 years of teaching experience
in middle school (Grades 6-8 preferred).
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE curriculum (as applicable).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate students and use creative teaching strategies.
