:

The English Language Teacher would be responsible for guiding students in Middle school (Grades 6-8) towards academic excellence and helping them develop a deep appreciation for the English language. The ideal candidate should be able to inspire students, making learning engaging and enjoyable, while fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love for English. Use innovative teaching methods and classroom activities to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Prepare lesson plans that align with the school's liberal educational philosophy, focusing on student-centered learning. Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth in both academics and character. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development sessions as required. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the school management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

BA degree in English and B.Ed. (Mandatory)

Work Experience:

2 to 4 years

Skills:

Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Ability to create lesson plans that are engaging, relevant, and tailored to diverse learning needs.
