Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy / Power BI Developer and Administrator with 6-8 years of expertise in business intelligence, data visualization, and platform administration. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical proficiency with solid business acumen and design sensibility to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and ensure the smooth operation of BI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Reporting:

o Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy and Power BI.


o Create optimized data models and implement advanced DAX expressions for accurate and efficient analytics.


o Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and provide actionable insights aligned with accounting and IFRS reporting standards.


o Ensure visual consistency and clarity through effective data visualization design.

MicroStrategy Administration:

o Manage MicroStrategy environment including user management, security roles, project setup, and access controls.


o Handle metadata maintenance, server configuration, scheduling, and report distribution.


o Monitor system performance, perform upgrades, patch installations, and troubleshoot server or application issues.


o Coordinate with IT and database teams to ensure platform stability and data integrity.


o Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system changes.

Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement:

o Act as an analytical advisor, guiding business stakeholders with insights and recommendations.


o Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.


o Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting attitude in driving BI initiatives forward.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 6-8 years in BI development and administration, with strong experience in MicroStrategy and Power BI.

Technical Expertise:

o Advanced knowledge of MicroStrategy architecture, administration, and security management.


o Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and data modelling.


o Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.


Business Knowledge: Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Finance. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. * Design Sense: A keen eye for layout, design, and data visualization aesthetics.
