We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Developer with 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level business intelligence and analytics solutions using MicroStrategy. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable BI dashboards, reports, and semantic layers, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data insights.

The role requires strong expertise in MicroStrategy architecture, metadata modeling, performance optimization, and integration with relational databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, documents, and scorecards. Develop and manage MicroStrategy metadata, including schema objects, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and metrics. Build and optimize Intelligent Cubes, prompts, filters, and transformations. Perform performance tuning of reports, SQL queries, and MicroStrategy objects. Manage MicroStrategy environments including Development, Test, and Production. Implement security using user groups, roles, object-level security, and row-level security. Support MicroStrategy platform upgrades, patches, and deployments. Collaborate with data warehouse, ETL, and business teams to understand reporting requirements. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis. Maintain technical documentation and best practices.
Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy (Web, Developer, Workstation). Expertise in MicroStrategy Metadata Modeling (Attributes, Facts, Metrics, Hierarchies). Experience in Report, Dashboard, and Document Development. Proficiency in Intelligent Cubes and OLAP Services. Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.). Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization of MicroStrategy reports. Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Security Administration. Experience with Prompting, Filters, Transformations, and VLDB Properties. Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas). Experience in Production Support and BI Issue Resolution.
Good to Have (Optional)

Experience with MicroStrategy Cloud or MicroStrategy on AWS/Azure. Knowledge of MicroStrategy REST APIs. Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS). Experience with Agile/Scrum environments. MicroStrategy certifications.
