The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced
Assistant Manager - Functional Consultant
specializing in
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
with a strong focus on
Production & Manufacturing modules
. The role involves working on client engagements, leading requirement workshops, delivering solutions, and ensuring successful implementations in manufacturing industries.
KPMG Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in D365 F&O implementations, upgrades, and support projects for manufacturing clients.
Conduct
requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
for Production & Manufacturing processes.
Configure D365 F&O modules including:
Production control & Manufacturing execution (MES)
Product information management (BOMs, Routes, Resources)
Shop floor control & Resource scheduling
Master planning & Production scheduling
Prepare
functional design documents (FDDs)
and collaborate with technical teams for development/customizations.
Support
data migration, integrations, and testing cycles (SIT, UAT)
.
Provide
end-user training, knowledge transfer, and change management support
.
Act as a
trusted advisor
to clients by recommending best practices and process improvements.
Ensure project deliverables meet
quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations
.
Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams (Finance, SCM, Quality, Warehousing) to ensure
integrated solutions
.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for strategic finance transformation initiatives.
Stay up to date with Microsoft product updates and advise clients on best practices to leverage new functionality.
Collaborate across development, testing, and integration teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
Mitigate project risks through proactive planning, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution.
Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and modules in Dynamics 365 F&O will be an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
7-10 years of consulting experience
with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX.
Proven expertise in
Production & Manufacturing modules
within D365 F&O.
Strong knowledge of
end-to-end manufacturing industry processes
(discrete/process industries).
Experience in at least
2 full-cycle D365 F&O implementations
.
Excellent skills in
requirement gathering, solution mapping, and functional documentation
.
Strong client-facing skills with ability to
lead workshops and presentations
.
Experience integrating D365 with Power Platform, Azure Services, and third-party tools.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and use of Azure DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to design scalable and sustainable solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure, data governance, and security standards
