The Sr. Microsoft Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consulting and implementation services for Microsoft software and cloud solutions, with a focus on
Voice & Collaboration
. This role leads technical execution across multiple client projects, contributes thought leadership, and helps shape IT roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Functions:
Understand client business, systems, challenges, and goals.
Lead stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning, and design sessions.
Translate requirements into technical solutions and designs.
Validate pre-sales designs and participate in technical execution planning.
Implement solutions following ConvergeOne and industry best practices.
Maintain documentation and deliverables as per scope.
Ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop prototypes and proofs of concept.
Conduct internal and client-facing training sessions.
Collaborate with peers for delivery, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing.
Additional Duties:
Work independently or as a team lead/member on projects.
Stay updated on network and cloud technologies.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to process improvements.
Lead integration of Microsoft M365 and other collaboration tools.
Analyze, design, develop, and support various applications.
Partner with Enterprise Architects to define technical architecture.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Ensure compliance with ISD standards and security practices.
Lead deployment of modules, upgrades, and fixes.
Provide budgetary input for staffing and equipment.
Document system components and modifications.
Research and implement engineering solutions.
Present technical information clearly to various audiences.
Guide and mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
6+ years with Microsoft solutions.
Certifications:
Current Microsoft certifications in relevant competencies.
Skills:
Microsoft Teams administration/configuration.
Deep understanding of SIP protocol and call flow analysis.
Expertise in Microsoft M365 and cloud collaboration tools.
Voice technology and telephony solutions (Teams, Oracle, Cisco, Avaya).
Integration experience with SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle, Cisco).
Log analysis and error resolution.
M365 security and compliance.
PowerShell scripting (preferred).
Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, LDAP).
Windows, VM, and Linux administration.
ADFS, SAML, AD trust and delegation.
Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Project management across full lifecycle.
Ability to adapt to changing goals and processes.
