Job Description

?We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Azure Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platform on Microsoft Azure. This role is central to driving our cloud strategy, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and implementing DevOps best practices to automate and streamline our development and operations processes.

?Key Responsibilities:

?Platform Design & Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage core Azure infrastructure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Identity, Monitoring) with a strong focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

?Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and manage infrastructure and configuration using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep.

?DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.

?Security & Governance: Ensure all cloud resources adhere to security standards, compliance regulations, and organizational governance policies. Implement and manage Azure security services (e.g., Azure Security Center/Defender for Cloud, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, NSGs).

?Monitoring & Optimization: Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to ensure optimal performance, proactively identify issues, and manage resource utilization and cost efficiency.

?Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain robust scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for routine tasks, automation, and operational efficiency.

?Collaboration: Work closely with application development, security, and operations teams to guide them on Azure best practices and ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud platform.

?Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Azure environment, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.

?Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, configurations, processes, and operational runbooks.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
