What you'll achieve

As a

Microsoft Azure Hyper-V Azure Local Architect

you will design and architect enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions across compute, storage, network, security, and identity. Build hybrid architectures integrating on-premises, Azure Cloud, and Azure Local. Develop solution blueprints, architecture documents, and technical roadmaps.

You will

Act as a

trusted cloud advisor

to customers, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure architecture. Lead

end-to-end Azure architecture design

for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization programs. Define and govern

cloud landing zones

, reference architectures, and best practices Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and executive-level discussions. Drive

hybrid and multi-cloud integration

scenarios (on-prem, Azure, Azure Local). Provide technical leadership across

application modernization, infrastructure, networking, and security

Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and adherence to architectural standards. Guide customers on

cost optimization, governance, security, and compliance

and support pre-sales activities including solution design, estimations, and proposal reviews

Essential Requirements

15+ years of IT experience with at least 8+ years in Azure architecture. Mandatory hands-on experience in Azure Networking and strong understanding of Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI. Azure certifications preferred: AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-600/Stack HCI or related edge certifications. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and design capabilities. Strong

consulting mindset

with the ability to influence senior stakeholders; proven experience leading architecture discussions with

CXOs, IT leaders, and business teams

. Ability to mentor architects and senior engineers and experience working in

large, complex enterprise environments

Azure Core Services

: Azure IaaS & PaaS (VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, Databases), Azure Virtual Networking (VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, NSG), Azure Identity & Security (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault), Azure Monitoring & Management (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Cost Management)

Hybrid & Integration

: Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) and hybrid cloud architectures, Experience in design and deploying complete Azure local clusters. On-prem to Azure integrations and migrations, Network integration between Azure Local and Azure Public Cloud, Identity integration using Azure AD, Hybrid connectivity using ExpressRoute, VPN, Arc-enabled services, Unified security, monitoring, and governance across edge and cloud, implement governance models using Azure Policies, Blueprints, and Landing Zones and Integration with enterprise platforms and legacy systems

Automation

: Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI

Governance & Security

: Azure Policy, Blueprints, Landing Zones, Security and compliance frameworks (Zero Trust, Well-Architected Framework), Enterprise-grade backup, DR, and high availability architectures

Desirable Requirements

Exposure to multi-cloud (AWS/GCP). Experience in Private, Hybrid cloud environment - VMWare, Oracle, Red Hat OpenShift and datacentre modernization or migration programs. Knowledge of cloud cost management platforms
