Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Soldering, wiring and panel assembly for microgrid components. Assist in the installation and commissioning of lab equipment, power converters, and battery systems. Ensure electrical safety compliance and proper grounding for all systems. Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance of lab equipment and test setups. Handle calibration and testing of power meters, sensors, and other critical instruments. Maintain inventory and spare parts for lab operations. Process PR(Purchase Request) & GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for incoming materials and equipment. Work with vendors and suppliers for procurement, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment. Maintain records of purchases, warranties, and service contracts. Follow electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and lab protocols. Conduct periodic safety audits and ensure proper handling of electrical components. Train new team members on safe operating procedures. Ensure all wiring is compliant with local electrical codes and standards. Regular calibration ensures that lab equipment provides accurate and reliable results. Choose vendors based on reliability, quality of products, and service support. Create a maintenance schedule for all equipment, considering manufacturer recommendations and usage frequency.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI/Diploma/ with minimum 4 years of Experience in Industry Proven track record as a technician. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for effective inventory management. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities. Acceptable organizational and time management skills Acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
