Job Description

The Microfinance Field Officer is responsible for promoting and managing women-focused loan programs. The role involves client acquisition, loan processing, repayment monitoring, and continuous engagement with women borrowers to support financial inclusion and livelihood development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, mobilize, and enroll women clients for microfinance loan programs

Form and manage Self-Help Groups (SHGs) / Joint Liability Groups (JLGs)

Conduct group meetings, center meetings, and financial literacy sessions

Explain loan products, terms, and repayment schedules to clients

Collect and verify client documents and process loan applications

Conduct field verification and assess creditworthiness of borrowers

Facilitate loan disbursement as per organizational guidelines

Ensure timely collection of EMIs and maintain high repayment rates

Monitor loan utilization and guide clients on income-generating activities

Maintain accurate records, loan files, and MIS data

Build strong relationships with women clients and community stakeholders

Prepare daily/weekly field reports and submit to supervisors

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate / Under Graduate (as per organization norms)

Experience in microfinance, NBFC, or NGO field operations preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work in field and travel within assigned areas

Basic knowledge of record-keeping and reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
