Job Overview:

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is appointing a

Lab Technician - Microbiology

to support

teaching activities for medical students

along with routine diagnostic and laboratory operations. The role involves assisting faculty during practical classes and maintaining academic laboratory standards as per institutional and NMC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist faculty during

Microbiology practical classes and demonstrations for students

Prepare cultures, media, slides, and reagents for teaching and practical examinations Handle and process microbiology specimens for academic and diagnostic purposes Ensure biosafety, sterility, and infection control during student practical sessions Maintain laboratory equipment, teaching materials, and student lab records Support research, projects, and internal assessments related to student training Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory registers

Eligibility Criteria:

DMLT / BMLT /

or equivalent (Mandatory) Knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques and biosafety norms

Experience:

0-3 years

of relevant experience Freshers with hands-on training and interest in teaching support may apply
