Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Microbiologist

to join our Quality Assurance & Control team at our Micro Lab. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microbiological testing and ensure that all mineral and chemical products meet regulatory and client-specific microbiological standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct microbiological analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. Perform testing for total plate count, yeast & mold, coliforms, E. coli, salmonella, and other microbial indicators. Maintain and operate all microbiological instruments (Laminar Flow, Autoclave, Incubator, etc.). Maintain microbiological media preparation, validation, and sterilization protocols. Ensure compliance with BIS, ISO, and client-defined microbial testing procedures. Prepare and maintain documentation, logs, and reports as per SOP and audit requirements. Participate in internal audits, calibrations, and routine lab hygiene practices. Assist in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation for microbiological deviations.

Requirements

Education:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biology, or related life sciences field.

Experience:

4-5 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing, preferably in a chemical, mineral, or industrial manufacturing setup. Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, safety standards, and lab protocols. Good documentation skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
