Performing laboratory analysis on all materials after appropriate sterilization.
Conducting tests on all incoming raw materials and finished products, and documenting all records.
Investigating all issues and addressing any GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) problems found in samples.
Maintaining accurate records and performing tests on all laboratory activities.
Maintaining purchase orders for all laboratory processes and monitoring inventory.
Sampling raw materials and finished products.
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards, such as HACCP.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to food safety and microbiology.
Maintaining accurate records of microbiological testing, quality control, and other related activities, and preparing reports.
Working with other departments, such as production and QA/QC, to ensure microbiological safety and quality of food products.
Reporting to senior management on laboratory performance and activities.
