Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform routine microbiological analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished API products. Conduct environmental monitoring of clean rooms and production areas (settle plates, swab tests, air sampling, etc.). Perform water testing (PW, WFI, and purified water) as per pharmacopeial standards (IP/BP/USP/EP). Conduct microbial limit tests, endotoxin tests, and sterility testing as per SOPs. Maintain microbial culture stock and ensure proper media preparation and sterilization procedures. Perform validation activities -- media fill, disinfectant efficacy testing, and equipment validation. Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and company quality standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all microbiological activities. Support audits (internal/external/regulatory) by providing necessary records and test results.

Key Skills:

Hands-on experience in Environmental Monitoring, Water Analysis, and Microbial Limit Tests. Familiar with pharmacopeial methods (USP/IP/BP/EP) and GMP documentation practices. Knowledge of LAL (Endotoxin) testing and sterility techniques. Experience with autoclave validation, incubator calibration, and media preparation. Proficient in sterile techniques, microbial identification, and contamination control.
