Key Responsibilities
Interpret and accurately read blueprints, technical drawings, and work specifications to determine welding requirements and project scope237.
Select, measure, cut, and join appropriate metals according to specifications, preparing work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly123.
Operate MIG welding equipment, adjusting settings such as voltage, amperage, gas flow, and wire feed speed to achieve optimal welds27.
Perform welding operations including arc welding, gas cutting, spot welding, and related techniques as needed5.
