Day in the Life:
Lead and manage the MICE sales team to drive high performance, motivation, and achievement of sales targets
Own revenue generation with a focus on delivering top-line revenue of ?15-20 crores
Build, manage, and grow relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to consistently achieve individual and team goals
Develop and execute the sales strategy for the MICE division, identifying growth and new business opportunities
Drive lead generation, conversion, and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales tactics and positioning
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Operations and Contracting to ensure smooth sales execution and client delivery
Manage sales forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting to senior leadership
You Will Be Perfect for the Role If You Have:
10-12 years of experience in MICE sales or a related travel management field, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
A proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building long-term client relationships
Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients, teams, and senior management effectively
Deep knowledge of the MICE business, sales processes, and client acquisition strategies
Strategic thinking skills with the ability to align sales initiatives to business goals
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
