The Mobile Healthcare Unit Doctor provides high-quality primary and preventive medical care to patients in underserved or remote communities using a mobile medical clinic. This role involves clinical diagnosis, treatment, health education, and coordination of care, with a focus on improving accessibility and continuity of healthcare services outside traditional hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients across a broad range of conditions.
Provide emergency care, basic life support, and stabilization when required.
Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments following established medical guidelines.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation.
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, community health workers, and other team members to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and proper use of medications.
Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
Ensure that the mobile clinic is stocked with necessary medical supplies and that equipment is properly maintained.
Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.
Provide telemedicine consultations or referrals to higher-level facilities as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
MBBS
Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience (primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or public health experience preferred).
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in diverse community environments.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and mobile diagnostic tools.
Commitment to community service and equitable healthcare delivery.
Working Conditions:
