What you\'ll be doing...

  • Leading all Hazard Security Operations to include Safety and Security of all Verizon Employees, VIVMs, Contractors and Visitors visiting Verizon Premises. Executes functional strategies to ensure work place safety and automate safety procedures for streamlining security operations. Prepares SEAP Document for earmarked sites and locations.
  • Conducting Investigations related to Insider Threat, Data Leak, Security Breach, Ethics related cases, Code of Conduct Violations and Logical Threats. Expert in Due diligence for Vendor Audit and Insider threat. Present RCA to functional management (Root cause Analysis) for each and every case Investigated. Conduct of internal and external investigations in accordance with local legal requirements, company policies and protocols.
  • Acting as Risk Advisor to jurisdictional Leadership for specific area of responsibility (Risk monitoring and Threat Intelligence) on all sorts of threats which can cause harm to safety of employees and disrupt business. Formulate and improve security processes and procedures including the SOP, Procedures, Assess provisioning, Material Movement, Visitor Management and all Security Incidents.
  • Participating in Crisis management committee during real crisis and provide real time risk assessment, threat vulnerability and mitigation plan to the functional management. Work with BCM committee for providing vital update on Various BCP Options with fact and analytics. Assist in formulation, development and ensure implementation of Global safety and security Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Procedures to meet ongoing maintenance of Security Operations
  • Assisting in continual improvisation and proposing innovations of operation functions like Visitor Management, Vendor Management, Access Protocols, Fire Safety management, Budgeting, Quality checks and Security reviews and ideate, introduce Innovative approaches in the same.
  • Maintaining Liaison with Local and National Law Enforcement agencies and other Government department to be abreast with routine operations and seek real time assistance if required. Assist the Country Security Director to Develop and maintain Country Security Risk assessment and country plan including Disaster Management and Evacuations.
  • Participating in periodic Table Top and Business Disruption exercises in sync with local management to gauge the readiness levels and be prepared with the best post exercise analysis.
  • Leading Security Project Reviews of both Internal and Vendor Site Locations including Background checks.
  • Managing EHS Function for earmarked Location from Security Standpoint.
  • Handling security equipment technology and management of its life cycle and being able to contribute in continual improvisation and introducing innovative approach in technical security equipment (Access Control, CCTV-VMS, Asset tracking, FRT etc.) life cycle management.
  • Experience in Security Management, Lead Security Initiatives and operations including developing, maintaining and executing the day to day operations of Security operations team and provide leadership of Security operations including Vulnerability mitigation, incident response and risk assessments.
  • Undertaking additional security related tasks as directed.

You\'ll need to have :
  • Bachelor\'s degree or Four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • Experience in Physical Security in developing, Coordinating, Implementing policies, standards and procedures in safeguarding employees and company\'s assets.
  • Experience in security/safety awareness, influencing compliances with security policies and providing solutions for business specific security issues.
  • Experience in developing, creating and implementing sustainable security culture and experience in addressing security team employee/contractor and performance issues.
  • Experience in security risk management in the areas of crisis management, executive protection, travel security and security awareness programs.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A Master\'s degree.
  • Experience in team Management and operating in a diverse & professional Security team responsible for security operations and implementing new systems and procedures.
  • Experience in establishing measures, metrics, thresholds and targets; drive performance in alignment with security, and other business strategies through knowledge and proficiency with various security technology solutions (Access Control, CCTV-VMS, and Asset Tracking etc.).
  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry in providing assistance to law enforcement agencies including lawfully disclosure of information, compliance with DoT reporting obligations.
  • Certifications such as CPP, CFE, PCI, PSP, CISA, CISSM, PEACE Investigative Interviewing, REID Investigating Technique, ISO 27001 or similar Global certifications from accredited institutes. Active participation on Security- related industry groups and advisory boards (For example: ASIS, OSAC etc.).
  • Ability to meet timelines, manage multiple projects/events simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, objective and team-oriented work environment.
  • Knowledge of Indian Law Enforcement procedures, technical writing, Civil law, Criminal law, Security procedures, Investigation procedures, training programs, IT and Cyber Security.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite to include MS Excel, MS PowerPoint andpersonnel management.
  • Experience in various departments of Law enforcement at Senior Level to seek assistance during crisis or safety issues.
