The Role Responsibilities

Job Summary

Role will be responsible for coordinating actions between SRE and SDO team in ServiceNow area. Selected person should be having 6 years experience in ServiceNow area including experience in Development and SRE areas of ServiceNow. From selected person we will require strong leadership, ability to handle issues related to Platform and core Applications, such as Request. For plus will be knowledge regarding integrations and API usage and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the client to reduce the turnaround time for issue resolution and establish better coordination with the users / stakeholders.
  • Designing and setting expected direction for SN Development team activities.
  • Leadership of Developers and Business Analyst team - approx. 8 people.
  • Performing regular meetings with teams and individual members.
  • Planning improvement plans based on Sprint Retro.
  • Planning scope of Service Portal releases.
  • Supporting Product and Platform owners.
  • Good ServiceNow Vendor coordination.
  • Supporting integrations in SN area.
  • Supporting architecture analysis.
  • Leading release activities.
  • Handling escalations.

  • Resource will be responsible for maintaining and actively participating in Service Design Office strategy.

  • Resource will be responsible to fulfil business requirements and aligning with business strategy.

  • Resource is obligated to follow compliance rules and follow mandatory System Delivery Framework Processes.

  • Maintaining the talent and potential within the SDO Team.
Risk Management
  • Following and adhering to Bank Risk Management procedures and processes.

  • Following necessary Governance controls in the Bank.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Good understanding of Service Design and Product Owner role in Service Now and the challenges around implementing change in this space.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • Assist in determining project scope and schedule based on business needs and customer requirements.
  • An individual that is willing to take ownership for driving change and challenge existing concepts.
  • A highly analytical and planning mindset, process oriented, collaborative and creative individual.
  • Work with management to define the short-term and long-term objectives and potential gains.
  • Having contributed or assisted any functions such as Product Owner, Service Design Office.
  • Knowledge of technical controls environments and compliance frameworks (ServiceNow).
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals.
  • Experience in Agile DevOps environments and maintaining service design processes.
  • Identify and manage resources for process improvement across workstreams.
  • Maintain and update all process related documents for reference purposes.
  • Experience with broad range of Service Design Management capabilities.
  • Optimize or redesign process flows to meet workstreams requirements.
  • Assist in planning and executing process improvement in workstreams.
  • Monitor process performance and improvements in key metrics.
  • Experienced in Product Owner role in large organizations.
  • Provide support and guidance to team when needed.
  • Understanding over network architecture and model.
  • Train resources in process improvement techniques.
  • Excellent Stakeholders Management.
