Job Description

-

- Managing client relationship for achieving/completing the desired business/transaction.

- Build and maintain mid-level relationships with Banks/ FIs/ NBFCs and other prospective lenders

- Preparation of Business pitches with financing solutions, Credit Appraisal Notes, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, CMA Data and any other documentation or information that may be required by lenders / investors to ensure successful deal closure.

- Ensure timely submission of information and clarify queries from Banks, FIs, Credit funds, and NBFCs

- Provide inputs on loan structuring and drafting term and conditions.

- Undertake the negotiation of documentation with legal department or legal counsel for finalization of legal documentation

- Track and stay updated in key business and develop an understanding of policy issues

- General insight into working of various industry segments and their special needs.

- Oversee the documentation process and ensure expeditious financial closure of transactions among banks/ FIs, etc. through effective co-ordination between the Client, Banks/ FIs, Legal teams and synchronization of terms sheets

Functional/ Technical Skills:

- Understanding of Corporate Credit and Project Finance with ability to structure deals is a must.

- Financial Due-Diligence, spreadsheet financial modelling with applied knowledge of associated analytical tools, proficiency in presentation and word processing software packages.

- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

- Basic knowledge of core sectors (Real Estate, Energy, Roads, Construction, Urban Infrastructure) and related industry/ policy developments.

- Understanding of techno-commercial (TEV Reports) and legal contracts, banking norms and regulatory systems.

- Preparation of Financial Models, DPRs, Teasers, MIS, presentations, reports, summaries, etc.

- Conceptual clarity and understanding of credit ratings, rating exercise and its internal processes.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

- Exhibits excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent telephone and net etiquette, Proficiency in computer skills with command over MS Office (word, excel, power point).

- Exhibits thorough Product knowledge & Market knowledge

- Exhibits extensive job knowledge contributing to the business development and growth

- Multi-tasking across mandates and various stages of appraisal

- Adherence to timelines and proactive attention to detail

- Pro-active, work independently and with teams.

Experience:

- 2-5 Years (Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience in Debt Capital Markets, Debt Syndication, Credit Underwriting, Banking, Credit Rating, Corporate Finance or Project Finance).
