We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist


In this role, you will:

Work as a MFGI Lead to provide application solutions to the business, from front to back. Designing, implementing, and maintaining MFGI applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems Transforming requirements into stipulations Support continuous improvement Investigating alternatives and technologies Presenting for architectural review Work alongside teams within the business/Operations areas to establish business needs. Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which we obtain and analyse large data sets, improve quality and the efficiency of our data systems. Communicate and resolve interdependencies between different applications. Collect & Interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. Design and develop custom dashboard solutions, as well as re-usable data visualization templates. Resolve SIT, UAT and Production Incidents, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Showcase an ability to multi-task, track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner teams.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:


Technical Skills

10+ years in Software Development on product solutions Multifonds. Hands on with writing complex Oracle SQL Queries independently with All types of Joins. Working Knowledge on with TA MFGI Experience in creating Complex WEBI Reports using Universe as data source. Good Experience in Developing, Enhancing and Testing the complex Universes on variety of data sources using Universe Designer. Good experience in performance tuning of Reports and Universe using Index Awareness and Aggregate Awareness Functionality in Business Objects. Knowledge on Central Management Console (CMC) for creating Users, Groups and Folders. Good experience in Implementing Security at Universe Level for Rows & Objects Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts for different Schemas. E.g. Star Schema and Snow Flake Schema. In-depth knowledge about SQL databases and ability to execute queries quickly. Understanding of UNIX and Linux systems. Understanding of GCP services- Dataflow,Pubsub,BigQuery,BigTable,GCS etc. Expertise in collecting large data sets, identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
