Job Summary

Life Solution(s) Placement is hiring a qualified Metallurgist for a reputed Foundry & Castings manufacturing company. The role focuses on austempering processes, metallurgical quality control, sand casting analysis, and heat treatment optimization, ensuring consistent product quality and process efficiency.

Required Qualification

Degree in Metallurgy / Metallurgical Engineering (Mandatory)

Required Knowledge & Experience

Strong knowledge of the Austempering process

Understanding of hardness control and microstructure analysis

Practical exposure to foundry sand casting processes

Knowledge of heat treatment parameters, defect analysis, and quality control

Experience in metallurgical testing and inspection as per foundry practices

Ability to coordinate effectively with production and quality teams

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize the austempering process

Ensure required hardness levels and metallurgical properties

Analyze and resolve sand casting-related metallurgical issues

Reduce rejections through process improvement initiatives

Provide metallurgical support for foundry operations and quality assurance

Salary

?70,000 CTC per month
