Job Description

Conduct

metallurgical testing

: microstructure analysis, hardness, tensile, impact, and other mechanical tests. Analyze and document

chemical composition

using spectrometers or other instruments. Interpret results and generate

technical reports

with root cause analysis of material defects. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure

process parameters

meet metallurgical standards. Perform

heat treatment validation

and suggest improvements in metal properties. Conduct

failure analysis

on returned products or production rejections. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment like microscope, UTM, impact testers, etc. Ensure compliance with

industry standards

such as ASTM, ISO, BIS, etc. Assist in

material selection

for forging and casting based on application. Record and maintain test data and ensure traceability of samples. Proficient in using

metallurgical lab equipment

and software Good understanding of

mechanical properties of metals

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
