Job Description

Responsible for Inhouse Heat Treatment (SQF) & Induction Hardening (IH), Phosphating, Laser Welding & Incoming Powertrain parts inspection Quality Parameters. ? Responsible for Powertrain parts Initial development, PPAP stage Metallurgical parameters confirmation ? Field failures & Inhouse Powertrain parts rejection Metallurgical Analysis ? Responsible and supporting R& D in New product Development in Metallurgical Aspects. ? Supporting for Setting of Laser Structure and IH New Parts Development & Improvement in Metallurgical Aspects. ? Supporting Supplier technical Assistance in Suppliers Product Development & Improvement in Metallurgical Aspects. ? Handling more than 50 Incoming parts Metallurgical parameters testing like gears, shafts, fork, engine block, engine head crankshaft, camshaft etc. comprises of both ferrous and non-ferrous (Products Manufacturing process like Carbonitriding, Forging, Casting, Sintering etc.) ? Performing process line & IATF Audits for Heat Treatment, Welding and Other manufacturing Gear Process and Assembly. ? Responsible for Lab Equipment Calibrations. ? Conducts and documents results of process trials to improve productivity and/or quality. ? Supporting Supplier With RM Queries & Other Metallurgical Parameters.
