Role Overview

We are seeking a Metal & Steel Fabrication Draftsman to produce accurate fabrication and shop drawings for steel and metal works. The role requires strong knowledge of structural steel components and fabrication processes.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Structural Engineering

Key Skills & Requirements

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D fabrication drawings) Strong understanding of structural steel sections such as I-beams, H-beams, channels, angles, and tubes Knowledge of welding symbols, welding types, bolting, cutting, and bending processes Experience in preparing fabrication drawings and shop drawings Ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed fabrication and shop drawings for metal and steel components Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and connection details Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure drawings are production-ready Revise drawings based on fabrication constraints and site feedback Ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of drawings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
